This program offers the very best of winter activities. Meet adorable huskies and feed gentle reindeer. Enjoy the breathtaking snow-covered landscapes on a sled ride pulled by huskies or reindeer. At the wilderness camp, you can try snowmobiling and experience the thrill of a sled ride. For children, there’s a mini snowmobile just their size. You can also slide down snowy slopes, create your own snow sculpture, and grill sausages over an open fire—all surrounded by the enchanting winter wonderland of Kuusamo.

The adventure begins in Ruka Village with a car transfer to our winter adventure park. At our safari house, you can gear up in warm winter clothing if your own gear isn’t sufficient. Once at the adventure park, you are free to choose the activities that interest you most and explore the area at your own pace.

Husky and Reindeer Experiences:
Friendly huskies eagerly await your visit and love a good scratch behind the ears. A husky sled ride takes you on a thrilling journey through snow-covered landscapes, while a reindeer sled offers a more peaceful ride. You’ll also have the chance to feed the reindeer their favorite treat—lichen.

Snowmobiling for Everyone:
Experience the thrill of snowmobiling in a safe and fun way! At our snowmobiling school, you’ll learn the basics of handling a snowmobile and test your skills on a practice track or a short safari. The little ones can join the safari in a sled pulled by a snowmobile or drive their own small snowmobile on a secure track.

Tobogganing and Winter Games:
Enjoy the excitement of sledding or try snowshoes and other winter sports equipment. Feeling creative? Sculpt your own snow masterpiece!

Cozy Moments by the Fire:
