Experience the Magic of the Northern Lights in Lapland
Starlight sledging to search for Northern Lights
This unforgettable adventure is also perfect for families. You will be seated in a sledge pulled by a snowmobile, driving into the deep forest. The route leads you through the changing landscape of Lapland.
During the safari you will have a break by an open fire where you can enjoy a snack with coffee and tea. If you are lucky, you may be able to see the Northern Lights lighting up the sky.

Please note: Northern lights sightings cannot be guaranteed because they are subject to weather conditions and solar activity.
The activities are open departures and program will be done if minimum 4 persons is joining. We will notify you at the latest by 3 p.m. the day before if the program is cancelled.

What’s Included
Activities are guided and include all necessary gear and winter outfit. If you need winter equipments, come to the meeting point Ruka Safaris Safari center 15 min earlier.
Pick-up and Meeting
Pick-up available from central Ruka area from certain pick up points. Details provided upon booking.
Booking & Cancellation
Minimum of 4 participants required for departure
Confirmation or cancellation will be sent by 3 p.m. the day before
In all cancellation’s office fee 50 € will be withheld
100% cancellation fee if canceled 14 days or less before the tour
50% cancellation fee if canceled within 20-15 days
Cancellation free of charge until 21 days before the date of the tour (except 50 € office fee)
