Step into the quiet morning and feed the reindeer herd
Morning Feeding of Hundreds of Reindeer
Start your day with feeding and meeting the reindeer in the farm. Get around the beautiful old farm and give the reindeer their favorite breakfast, lichen.
During this experience you are in the middle of the reindeer herd which is an ideal moment to take some pictures. Afterwards you go to a Kota where you learn about the life of the reindeer while having a cup of coffee or tea. You also get a pastry and a grilled sausage.
The activities are open departures and program will be done if minimum 4 persons is joining. We will notify you at the latest by 3 p.m. the day before if the program is cancelled.

What’s Included
Activities are guided and include all necessary gear and winter outfit. If you need winter equipments, come to the meeting point Ruka Safaris Safari center 40 min earlier.
Pick-up and Meeting
Pick-up available from central Ruka area from certain pick up points. Details provided upon booking.
Booking & Cancellation
Minimum of 4 participants required for departure
Confirmation or cancellation will be sent by 3 p.m. the day before
In all cancellation’s office fee 50 € will be withheld
100% cancellation fee if canceled 14 days or less before the tour
50% cancellation fee if canceled within 20-15 days
Cancellation free of charge until 21 days before the date of the tour (except 50 € office fee)
