Learn the basics and ride your first snowmobile trail
Snowmobile introduction
This safari gives us all necessary skills needed to drive a snowmobile in a guided group. Perfect for people who want to try out driving with a snowmobile for the first time!
Before we start our guide gives us a full safety briefing and introductions for driving. After the short lesson we head out and drive a short route through snowy landscapes.
We make stops to take pictures and memorize the moment among the trees. During the safari we will stop for a break with coffee / tea and a sweet bun.
After this activity you are ready to join more demanding trips with snowmobiles.
The activities are open departures and program will be done if minimum 4 persons is joining. We will notify you at the latest by 3 p.m. the day before if the program is cancelled.

What’s Included
Activities are guided and include all necessary gear and winter outfit. If you need winter equipments, come to the meeting point Ruka Safaris Safari center 20 min earlier.
Pick-up and Meeting
Pick-up available from central Ruka area from certain pick up points. Details provided upon booking.
Booking & Cancellation
Minimum of 4 participants required for departure
Confirmation or cancellation will be sent by 3 p.m. the day before
In all cancellation’s office fee 50 € will be withheld
100% cancellation fee if canceled 14 days or less before the tour
50% cancellation fee if canceled within 20-15 days
Cancellation free of charge until 21 days before the date of the tour (except 50 € office fee)
