Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Ruka Safaris as we take you on a guided hike through the enchanting wilderness of Northern Finland in search of the magical Northern Lights.
October is a prime time for aurora viewing, as the crisp autumn air and darkening skies provide ideal conditions for witnessing this natural phenomenon. This experience combines the serenity of nature with the thrill of chasing the elusive aurora borealis, all under the guidance of our expert local guides.
Our experienced guides will share fascinating insights into the science behind the Northern Lights on this 3 hour walk through the forest. You will receive rain boots and coats if needed.
Along the way the guide will serve a hot drink and snack. Walking distance is approximately 3 till 4 km through dense forest.
The activities are open departures and program will be done if minimum 4 persons is joining. We will notify you at the latest by 3 p.m. the day before if the program is cancelled.

What’s Included
Activities are guided and include all necessary gear and winter outfit. If you need winter equipments, come to the meeting point Ruka Safaris Safari center 15 min earlier.

Booking & Cancellation
Minimum of 4 participants required for departure
Confirmation or cancellation will be sent by 3 p.m. the day before
In all cancellation’s office fee 50 € will be withheld
100% cancellation fee if canceled 14 days or less before the tour
50% cancellation fee if canceled within 20-15 days
Cancellation free of charge until 21 days before the date of the tour (except 50 € office fee)
