Cross-Country Ski Basics
This program teaches you the basics of cross-country skiing, one of the nation’s most popular hobbies. Together with your guide, you practice techniques and make a short tour on the ski-tracks. The Skiing equipment is included in the program.
The activities are open departures and program will be done if minimum 4 persons is joining. We will notify you at the latest by 3 p.m. the day before if the program is cancelled.

At 14.00 on Tuesday and Friday
What’s Included
Activities are guided and include all necessary gear and winter outfit. If you need winter equipments, come to the meeting point Ruka Safaris Safari center 20 min earlier.
Pick-up and Meeting
Pick-up available from central Ruka area from certain pick up points. Details provided upon booking.
Booking & Cancellation
Minimum of 4 participants required for departure
Confirmation or cancellation will be sent by 3 p.m. the day before
In all cancellation’s office fee 50 € will be withheld
100% cancellation fee if canceled 14 days or less before the tour
50% cancellation fee if canceled within 20-15 days
Cancellation free of charge until 21 days before the date of the tour (except 50 € office fee)
