Meet the reindeer and learn about life in the Arctic
Visit to a reindeer farm
On this tour you will have a transfer to a traditional reindeer farm. At the farm you will enjoy reindeer sled-ride of about 300 metres, followed by feeding the reindeer.
By the open fire you will be able to enjoy a sausage, a sweet pastry and coffee or tea while the reindeer herder shares stories about the arctic nature and the year of the reindeer.
The activities are open departures and program will be done if minimum 4 persons is joining. We will notify you at the latest by 3 p.m. the day before if the program is cancelled.

What’s Included
Activities are guided and include all necessary gear and winter outfit. If you need winter equipments, come to the meeting point Ruka Safaris Safari center 40 min earlier.

Pick-up available from central Ruka area from certain pick up points. Details provided upon booking.
Booking & Cancellation
Minimum of 4 participants required for departure
Confirmation or cancellation will be sent by 3 p.m. the day before
In all cancellation’s office fee 50 € will be withheld
100% cancellation fee if canceled 14 days or less before the tour
50% cancellation fee if canceled within 20-15 days
Cancellation free of charge until 21 days before the date of the tour (except 50 € office fee)
