World of Reindeer
During this safari you will drive to a local reindeer farm by car. The herder will tell you stories of his reindeer and their life in nature. You can feed the reindeer and get many pictures with them. In the Kota you will enjoy fresh coffee made on an open fire with a traditional local sweet pastry. You will see that there are hundreds of reindeer at the farm, though you should never ask the reindeer herder the exact number of reindeer as it is rude to do so.
The highlight of this safari is a sleigh ride of 1.5 kilometers pulled by reindeer through the snowy forest.
The activities are open departures and program will be done if minimum 4 persons is joining. We will notify you at the latest by 3 p.m. the day before if the program is cancelled.

What’s Included
Activities are guided and include all necessary gear and winter outfit. If you need winter equipments, come to the meeting point Ruka Safaris Safari center 40 min earlier.

Pick-up available from central Ruka area from certain pick up points. Details provided upon booking.
Booking & Cancellation
Minimum of 4 participants required for departure
Confirmation or cancellation will be sent by 3 p.m. the day before
In all cancellation’s office fee 50 € will be withheld
100% cancellation fee if canceled 14 days or less before the tour
50% cancellation fee if canceled within 20-15 days
Cancellation free of charge until 21 days before the date of the tour (except 50 € office fee)
