Welcome to the peaceful shores of Lake Koitijärvi, part of the fish-rich Kostonjoki river system.
The well-equipped log cabin and lakeside sauna are situated by a gently sloping sandy beach. In summer, you can enjoy rowing on the lake, while fishing is possible throughout the year. The rapids of the Kostonjoki River are also nearby.
Nature and Outdoor Activities
The surrounding area offers excellent hiking opportunities, including Soiperoinen and Pyhitystunturi with their wilderness shelters. Extensive state-owned lands nearby also provide opportunities for hunting. A dog kennel and enclosure are available in the cabin grounds.
In winter, you can access snowmobile routes directly from the cabin.

Lakeside Sauna
The lakeside sauna has electricity but no running water.
In winter, arrangements can be made to have the sauna heated, water carried to the sauna and a hole prepared in the lake ice, for example in time for the evening of your arrival.
For Families with Children
Children’s equipment is available on request, including a high chair, cot and safety gate for the upstairs staircase.
