Affordable accommodation is also available in four two-person rooms with shared bathroom facilities, living areas and a kitchen. We also offer pitches for caravans and tents.
In the Landscapes of Kalle Päätalo
Kallioniemi, the childhood home of renowned Finnish author Kalle Päätalo, is located approximately 2 km away.
The surrounding area offers hiking trails with boardwalks, a traditional meadow and meadow sauna, as well as a museum showcasing the area’s history of logging, log driving and local traditions.
By Lake Jokijärvi and the Iijoki River
The Iijoki River flows through beautiful Lake Jokijärvi. Guests of the holiday village have shared access to a shallow natural beach and a campfire site.
Use of a rowing boat is included in the cabin rental price. A lakeside sauna and a lounge with a fireplace are also available for rent.
You can also rent a rowing boat and explore Villinsaari and Kirkkosaari, islands familiar from the books of Kalle Päätalo.
Duplex Riitula & Herkkula (4+4 guests)
The duplex features a bedroom, one sofa bed and one single bed in the living area, and four sleeping places in the loft. It also has a kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator, a private sauna with an electric heater, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Kallela (1+4 guests)
A log cabin located by the lake, built in 1988. The main living area has a sofa bed, while the loft provides four sleeping places (height 1.35 m).

Hilla (1+4 guests)
A cosy log cabin with a sofa bed in the main living area and four sleeping places in the loft (height 1.5 m).

The combined kitchen and living area has a bunk bed (120 cm / 80 cm) and an additional 80 cm wide bed.

The log-built Courtyard House has four bedrooms, each equipped with a convertible bunk bed and a refrigerator.
Shared facilities include a small kitchen, lobby, bathroom with shower and toilet. A lakeside sauna is available for an additional fee.
