Saija Lodge by Lake Jokijärvi
Saija Lodge is located on the shore of Lake Jokijärvi and offers accommodation, restaurant services and activities by request all year round. All buildings are traditionally crafted from solid logs.
Accommodation
The courtyard area features 20 log-built apartments with private saunas for 1–4 guests, two log cabins and two glass-roofed aurora huts.
Each apartment includes a bedroom for two, a living room, a private sauna and a bathroom with a toilet.
Restaurant Services
Saija’s kitchen emphasizes local ingredients, wild food and traditional flavors. The dining halls in the main building can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Breakfast is included for guests staying in the apartments. Full-board and half-board options are also available.
Activities All Year Round
The surrounding nature offers excellent opportunities for a wide range of outdoor activities. In summer, guests can enjoy canoeing, fishing, hiking and cycling.
Saija has its own husky kennel, making dog sledding one of the highlights of the winter season. We also organize snowmobile safaris, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fatbike tours.
Equipment is also available for rent for those who prefer to explore the surrounding nature independently.
